In this clip, a worker of Vespa affinis attempts to subdue and kill a grasshopper which is larger than herself. She takes a hard kick to the head in the process. Amazingly, after struggling with the grasshopper for another 10 minutes after this clip was taken, she succeeded! Even then, the job was far from over; the industrious hornet had to take 6 or 7 trips to carry all the meat in this grasshopper away.
