During the winter, Vespa bicolor frequently displays a habit of lurking around and on dog dropppings, in an attempt to catch the flies that are attracted to the dung. In this clip, I actually caught some flies, and offered them to the wasps by hand! My hand was just inches away in these cases. The clip is rather blur and shaky, for one main reason: I was leaning back to avoid getting too close to the dog dung!
